JAKARTA, SEPTEMBER 24, 2021 - The integrated logistics service provider PT Cipta Krida Bahari (CKB Group) which is a subsidiary of PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABM) has successfully demonstrated its existence through the acquisition of a new logistics service cooperation contract with PT Vale Indonesia Tbk valid for five years.

The operational mechanism for the PT Vale Indonesia Tbk project will later be supported through the utilization of the Bonded Logistics Center managed by the CKB Group.

President Director of CKB Group, Iman Sjafei explained, armed with more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry, CKB Group is optimistic that it can run superior operations and can provide the best results in providing logistics services for PT Vale Indonesia Tbk.

"Through this new contract, CKB Group will automatically act as a contractor in fulfilling supply chain management from PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, including warehousing, consolidation, delivery of goods, transhipment services, and global logistics management," explained Iman.

PT Vale Indonesia Tbk is a nickel ore mining company with a parent company in Brazil. In Indonesia, PT Vale Indonesia Tbk operates commercially in Sorowako, East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi Province.

“As a contractor of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, CKB Group will act as the company's representative in the offsite area to arrange safe, efficient and effective delivery of product materials to Balantang Port, Sorowako Airport, and the company's warehouse in Sorowako, as well as sending the product materials from Sorowako to other regions, both domestically and internationally,” added Iman.

In general, CKB Group is a national integrated logistics service provider company, with a fairly wide range of services, namely domestic and international cargo delivery services via air, sea, land or rail and multimodal, customs service management, project logistics, warehousing management, remote site/supply base services, bonded logistics center, industrial cargo delivery, dry bulk cargo delivery, especially coal, port management and loading and unloading services.
