ABM Investama always trying to be there among the Indonesian society, bringing the programs that meant to give contribution to their daily activities and life. Sewatama Corporate Citizenship Program itselves has occured many years before.

Lots of activities focused on education, health, infrastructure and small businesses have been done in several places, such as West Nusa Tenggara, Situ Gintung, Padang, Merapi (Yogyakarta) and Wasior (Papua). The other Sewatama activity is rehabilitation project of Micro-Hydro Power Plant (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro – PLMTH) at Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar which located in base of Gunung Halimun National Park, Sukabumi, West Java. This project was meant to bring back and maximizing the function of the Micro-Hydro Power Plant that is not operating since 1998 due to a huge flood.

Collaborating with Ibeka Foundation, Abah Ugi as Head of Kasepuhan Cipta Gelar, UNINDO, PT Dwipa Konektra, PT Cipta Krida Bahari and PT Sanggar Sarana Baja, this project is focused on developing and rehabilitating Micro-Hydro Power Plant like its dam.

The most important thing on this activity is communicatable knowledge to make sure the sustainability of the Micro-Hydro Power Plant such as operating, scheduled maintenance and effective and efficiently used to maximize the life span of the Micro-Hydro Power Plant. This rehabilitation project is targeted to be done at the end of 2012.  With this rehabilitation, all of the society could access and use the maximum electricity energy, while keeping the preservation of Kasepuhan Adat Cipta Gelar’s nature.
